I’m an English philologist with a C2 level, but beyond qualifications, what truly defines my work is passion.
Languages have always fascinated me as a way to understand people, not just as tools for communication. That curiosity also led me to explore psychology and criminology, fields that have helped me better understand how we think, how we learn, and what holds us back when expressing ourselves.
My teaching approach is not standard. I listen, adapt and guide, because every person learns differently.
Alongside teaching, writing and music are an important part of my life. I’m also a musician, and that shapes how I understand rhythm, consistency and creativity in the learning process.

He is one of the best Spanish teachers I have come across. He is fluent in English but only speaks it when you ask him to which I think is great. He is clearly experienced and easily tunes into your personal language needs but more importantly, it is clear that he loves what he does.
My experience with Fran:
Fran is possibly the best Spanish teacher I’ve ever had. He has an excellent level of Spanish (not all natives do), is very precise and accurate and has a wealth of knowledge. He quickly identifies your errors and has a huge arsenal of resources at his disposal which he uses depending on each student’s needs. He gave me a very firm base in Spanish grammar, which is extremely important aswell as a true passion for the language. In addition to his expertise he is also a genuinely lovely person who is willing to help and answer questions or doubts whenever you need it. A final point is his very high level of English, which is very useful when explaining the more complex points of the language as he is able to put himself in your shoes and understand the difficulties that a native English speaker may face when learning Spanish.
In conclusion, a brilliant teacher. HIGHLY RECOMMENDABLE
I started spanish lessons with Fran through Skype and phone calls as I lived about 45mins away so 1:1 sessions weren’t an option. This format for me actually worked very well, we were able to talk, but I could also see the written version of everything that we were going through.
The sessions were always very well planned out and I had exercises or informations to read before each session so I knew more or less what we would be covering.
Fran was always punctual, classes were always on time and never cancelled. We usually had a structured 45mins of learning and then 15mins of more flowing chat to try to get used to having a conversation. This was always really good and helpful as it was more natural.I would recommend Fran to help you learn Spanish whatever level you are at and whether you live close enough for 1:1s or for remote sessions, you will learn a lot with him. He is also very patient!! 😅 Thanks Fran for all your help. I now feel confident in most situations where I have to speak spanish.

Fran is a great teacher very patient and explains everything in English if needed. The lessons are always relevant to my life using vocabulary that I need to know and I enjoy the mix of correct grammar and local phrases that fran adds in which you would only get from a local native speaker. I particularly like the lessons because we do them online and he is really flexible. I would struggle to get to a class at a definite time and place every week due to my work. I would go to anyone else for Spanish lessons fran is highly recommended 😀😀

Es muy claro en sus explicaciones y la forma en que se desarrolla la clase haces que mejores todas las habilidades, writing, listening, speaking. Además Fran constantemente está mejorando sus habilidades en el inglés ya que cada 2 años él vuelve y se presenta al C2 para reforzar sus conocimiento. Es puntual con las clases y responsable revisando mis deberes.
